Best Practices: Walkthrough Videos

• Interior and Exterior Video Walkthroughs

  Some of our clients will require videos of the interior and/or exterior of a property. Please see additional details below for expectations and best practices.

  Interior Video Walkthrough Expectations

  Please record a video in landscape mode, walking around the property's interior and capturing every room. 

  • If, for any reason, there is an area of the interior of the property that can not be captured due to a limitation, please provide a limitation in the report for the client's awareness. 

  Exterior Video Walkthrough Expectations

  Please record a video in landscape mode walking around the property's exterior and pan the camera around to capture all sides of the property: front, left, right, and back.  

  • If the property being inspected is a Townhome or attached unit we ask that you record as much as you can of the exterior. 
  • If the property being inspected is an Apartment, Condo, or Multi-Family unit please pan around the front door area to show the surroundings.
