Canceling or Rescheduling Your Inspection
If you need to cancel or reschedule an inspection that you have already booked, you can easily do so through the Inspectify Order Dashboard.
How to cancel:
Should you need to modify an existing booking, you can do so directly from your Inspectify Dashboard:
- Log into your Inspectify account.
- Identify the specific booking you wish to change.
- Utilize the designated button to either cancel or reschedule your appointment according to your needs.
How to reschedule:
Note: If rescheduling an inspection, please ensure that the contingency date is updated, if applicable.
Please note, if your account is configured to gather availability from an external party (such as a resident, agent, or seller), please choose the 'Collect availabilities from' option as shown below. This will either send an email with a link to our booking calendar or allow you to provide your own availability. After selecting 'Collect availabilities from,' you'll receive confirmation that your reschedule request has been sent.

Important: Timing and Fees
If you cancel or reschedule an inspection, fees may apply depending on the inspection type and how close the change is to the scheduled time.
Full Home Inspections

More than 24 hours’ notice: No fee

Within 24 hours’ notice: $200 cancellation or rescheduling fee

If the inspector arrives but the inspection cannot begin: $200 fee

If the inspection has begun but cannot be completed: Full inspection fee

Multi-unit properties: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid a fee
All Other Inspection Types
Including, but not limited to: rent ready, move-in/move-out, draw/SOW, insurance, and occupancy checks.
Cancellation or Rescheduling

Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the scheduled inspection time will incur a fee equal to 50% of the inspection cost

This fee is capped at a maximum of $200
Safety or Access Issues

If an inspection cannot be completed due to safety or access issues, a fee equal to 70% of the inspection cost will apply

This fee is capped at a maximum of $200
Why Fees May Apply
These fees help cover scheduling, inspector travel, and reserved inspection time that cannot be reassigned on short notice.
