Completing BPOs with Appraisify

Where will I complete the BPO?

While our BPOs are currently completed using Profet, we will eventually move them into our Toolkit platform. You’ll be onboarded into Profet, and if we need you to move to Toolkit we’ll assist you in doing so.

  • Profet: Our primary platform for valuation data entry and submission.
  • Appraisify Toolkit: Used for specific assignments as directed in your order instructions.

What will be provided to me?

  • Platform access (Profet and/or Toolkit)

  • You are not required to perform the property inspection for Desktop BPOs. We handle the data capture and inspection component, and your role is focused strictly on the valuation analysis and reporting.

    For orders that include on-site data capture, a physical inspection will be required.

What Is Required in Each BPO?

Your report must include:
  • As-is value conclusion
  • Repaired value conclusion, when applicable
  • Comparable sales and active listings with appropriate adjustments
  • Clear market commentary and support for your pricing strategy
  • Analysis that aligns with the provided inspection report and property condition

What are my responsibilities as an agent?

As a contract BPO agent, your primary objective is to deliver well-supported value conclusions within defined turnaround times. Your core duties include:

  • Property Analysis: Completing interior and/or exterior BPOs in your assigned markets.
  • Market Research: Analyzing comparable sales, current listings, and local market trends.
  • Valuation Strategy: Providing clear, well-supported value conclusions backed by professional commentary.
  • Communication: Maintaining prompt contact regarding any questions, clarification needs, or potential delays.

What are Appraisify’s quality & submission standards?

To maintain our standing with our partners, all agents must adhere to the following:

  1. Guidelines: Follow all Appraisify BPO guidelines and quality standards for every report.
  2. Timeliness: Respect all deadlines and turnaround times assigned to each order.
  3. Accuracy: Ensure all data in the Profet or Appraisify Toolkit platforms is verified and accurate before final submission.

What does compensation look like?

  • Payments are initiated seven days after we receive your report.  Your financial institution may take an additional 2-3 days to deposit funds into your account. This ensures we have enough time to obtain any required revisions or updates from the client.

  • Please find our BPO pricing structure below:

    • Desktop BPO: $35
    • BPO with On-Site Data Capture: $50

    Desktop BPOs will make up the majority of assignments, with on-site data capture available in select cases depending on client needs.
