FAQ - Rehab Tool: Default Work Item Tags

We’re introducing a self-service feature that allows users to assign tags to work items directly within the pricing sheet. These tags will be automatically applied to any work item when the corresponding remedy is added to a scope.

FAQ

How does the tag feature work?

Once the pricing sheet with the new tag data is uploaded, any time a remedy is assigned to a scope item, the associated tag(s) will automatically be applied to that item.

Is the “Tag” column automatically included in the pricing sheet?

No, users will need to manually add the “Tag” column to their most recent copy of the pricing sheet and enter the desired tags for each item.

Can I add more than one tag to an item?

Yes, you can assign multiple tags to a single item. To do this, separate each tag with a comma.

How can I ensure my new tags are applied in future scopes?

After updating your pricing sheet with the new “Tag” column and desired tags, send the updated file to your Inspectify contact for uploading. This will ensure your tags are available when creating future scopes.

What happens if I remove a tag from a remedy in a scope item?

Removing a tag from a remedy in a scope item only affects that specific instance. The remedy will retain its original tags for future use in other projects.

Note: To make the tag change permanent, you’ll need to update the pricing sheet with the desired changes and upload the revised version.

How can I view the list of tags?

You can see the tags assigned to remedies in two places: in the pricing sheet and in the “Tags” field on the work item within the Rehab tool.

The “Tags” field provides a dropdown list displaying all available tags.
