Inspectify Basics
Information for interested Inspectors.
- Inspectify is a managed marketplace, connecting clients to inspector partners, nationwide. We provide vetted, qualified inspections and property assessments - not leads.
- Inspectify partners with a wide-range of clients. This may include consumers, agents, real estate investors, property management companies and more.
- Having a diverse group of clients, you may see a variety of inspection types such as general home, ancillary, custom-scoped, rental property assessments, etc.
- You will be required to use the Inspectify app to complete the majority of the inspection orders received. Our booking team will clearly identify which inspections or property assessments may be completed off-app. App use is determined by the client. All inspector partners receive login credentials and an app tutorial before getting started.
- Inspector partners will need to provide all information requested in our onboarding form, including a current Certificate of Insurance, license information, payment information and completing/e-signing a W9.
- Inspectors are expected to reply in a timely manner, complete inspection reports within 24 hours of the appointment and only share inspection information with the party that ordered the inspection.
- There is no exclusivity. If Inspectify is selecting the inspector for the order, we will make the best possible decision for the client based on location, services, availability and pricing.
- All inspector partners will be asked for their ancillary service pricing during onboarding. Depending on the type of inspection or property assessment, some orders will fall under inspector pricing, while others will be set-priced based on the scope of the order.
- Inspections and property assessments that fall under inspector pricing will have a 20% platform fee deducted from the total pay. All set-priced inspections or assessments do not have a platform fee deducted. There are no other fees to partner with Inspectify.
- All inspector partners are required to agree to Inspectify’s Master Inspection and Services Agreement. The Master Inspection and Services Agreement applies to all accepted inspections and property assessments, replacing the need for a pre-inspection agreement for each job. All interested inspectors that do not agree to the Master Inspection and Services Agreement will not be able to join the platform.
- Inspectify only onboards new inspector partners if:
1. The order volume in a region exceeds available inspector partners and additional partners are needed or 2. Our team is anticipating order growth in an area with little or no current inspector partners. This is in an effort to make sure current partners find value in our partnership.
