During a rent-ready inspection, the property is typically checked for the following:
- Cleanliness: Ensuring the entire unit, including appliances, floors, windows, and bathrooms, is clean and presentable.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Checking for any necessary repairs, such as broken fixtures, damaged walls, or faulty electrical systems, and ensuring all appliances and systems (plumbing, heating, cooling) are in working order.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that the property is safe, habitable, and meets basic safety standards.
- Cosmetic Details: Assess whether touch-ups, such as painting or replacing worn-out fixtures, are needed to make the property visually appealing.
- Pest Control: Ensuring there are no signs of pest infestations.
Templates and workflows may differ between clients, but it is crucial to inspect all areas and systems listed in the report.

- Exterior & Surroundings
- Interior (Including, but not limited to, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and laundry areas.)
