Suggested equipment:

Important Notes:
-
Call out all cosmetic items: Clients expect new homes to be free of flaws, so it's crucial to be thorough and assertive in identifying and documenting all defects. Inspect the property as if you were the buyer, ensuring no detail is missed.
-
Bring a ladder: Use it to inspect the attic. If you don't have one, connect with the construction manager onsite to borrow theirs.
-
Take clear photos of the meters: Ensure clear photos of the water, gas, and electric meters, with all readings and identifying numbers legible. Clients use these photos to establish services at the home.
-
Do not edit the report based on onsite input: If an item is defective when you inspect it, do not adjust the report, even if the onsite representative fixes it afterward. The report should reflect the condition at the time of inspection.
- Duplicate Subsystems: When applicable, please add more rooms/systems to be sure you document the entire home.
→For example, bedrooms and bathrooms can be duplicated to add more rooms to the report.
💡For further information on adding or deleting additional rooms, please see the following article: Deleting and Adding Conditional Rooms in the Inspectify App - Reports must be completed and submitted within 24 hours of the appointment time.
