We are excited to introduce a new feature in the Inspectify App designed to enhance your inspection experience: "Map View." This guide will help you navigate and make the most of this feature.
Accessing Map View
- Location: You can find the Map View by tapping the "map" icon at the bottom of the "Upcoming" tab. Please note that this feature is available exclusively in the "Upcoming" tab and not in the "Offers" or "Completed" tabs.
Using Filters
- Filter Options: In Map View, you can filter inspections by "All," "Today," "Tomorrow," and "Go Anytime." You can apply multiple filters simultaneously to narrow down your displayed inspections.
- Filter Access: Filters are accessible both in the Map View and when you switch back to the List View.
Navigating the Map
- List Icon: While in Map View, you can switch back to List View by tapping the "List" icon at the bottom of your screen.
- Zoom Functionality: When you are zoomed out, inspections are grouped by proximity, represented by a single pin showing the total number of inspections in that area. As you zoom in, the pins break out to show individual inspections.
- Interaction with Pins: Clicking on a pin will display job cards as you would see them in the List View for the selected area.
- The Map View is hosted by the device's default map application: Apple Maps for iOS devices and Google Maps for Android devices.
Compatibility
- The Map View feature has been tested on iOS and Android devices with the latest software versions. If you run into any issues with functionality on any older devices, please reach out to our team for assistance.
