Requirements to Join Inspectify
To become a part of the Appraisify network and start receiving valuation opportunities, there are a few key requirements that every appraiser needs to meet. These are designed to ensure that our appraisers uphold the highest standards of professionalism and reliability. Below are the essential requirements for joining Appraisify:
Errors & Omissions Insurance (E&O)
Appraisify requires all inspectors to have a valid Errors & Omissions Insurance Policy (E&O). This protects you in case you make an unintentional mistake during your inspection or fail to identify a critical issue.
You’ll need to upload a copy of your E&O during the onboarding process to verify your coverage of at least $500,000 per claim and $500,000 aggregate. You will also be required to provide updated insurance information and documentation upon expiration.
Additional Certifications/Documents
- Appraiser License and/or Certifications
Please provide a license or certification for every state in which you are interested in completing valuations for. This must be in an active status on ASC.gov and in good standing with the state in which the license is held. You must be certified or licensed to complete an order in a state. If a lapse in coverage occurs, we will suspend appraisal assignments until we receive the updated license documents. -
Master Services and Inspection Agreement
All inspectors are required to sign the Master Services and Inspection Agreement. This agreement sets the terms under which appraisers (vendors) provide services to Appraisify as independent contractors, including licensing, compliance, professionalism, confidentiality, insurance, payment, and termination requirements. A signed agreement is necessary before you can start accepting inspection jobs. - Appraiser Consent Agreement
All appraisers are required to sign the consent agreement. This agreement provides your consent to receive required disclosures, documents, and signatures electronically instead of in paper form when working with Appraisify. A signed agreement is necessary before you can start accepting inspection jobs. - Non-Disclosure Agreement
All appraisers are required to sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement. This agreement requires appraisers to protect Appraisify’s confidential information and use it only for authorized appraisal services. A signed agreement is necessary before you can start accepting inspection jobs. - Signed W-9 Form
A signed W-9 form is required to ensure proper tax reporting and payment processing. Please submit the completed W-9 form as part of your onboarding documents.
