Our recent app update streamlines the way Access Information is shared via the Inspectify App.
Updated View of Access Information in App
Property access information will now be accessible via the “Access property” button on the Job Summary page, as seen below.
We are now requiring our customers to provide additional details for the property access information shared when booking inspections. As such, we created a dedicated Access Instructions page, seen in the screenshot below.
In addition to requiring more detail, we are also giving our customers the ability to provide multiple types of property access. In the example above, the customer has entered a lockbox code in addition to an on-site contact. Once you’ve accessed the property, you can tap the “Start inspection” button to begin working on your report.
Troubleshooting Access Information
Having trouble accessing a property? You can now tap the “Troubleshooting” button (shown in the screenshot above) on the Access Instructions page to view suggested next steps to take if you are unable to access a property.
Any other specific troubleshooting information provided by customers will be displayed directly on this new "Troubleshooting" page.
If you encounter ongoing difficulties accessing a property, we've introduced a new "Text support" button for your convenience. By clicking on this button, you will be able to access a pre-loaded text message containing all the necessary information for our team to promptly assist you. Simply send your troubleshooting text as is, or include any relevant details you want to share, and a member of the Inspectify team will respond as soon as possible.
Additional Job Summary Updates
The "Special Instructions" section of the Job Summary page will now prioritize sharing non-access related details from our customers that inspectors should be aware of before conducting their inspection. This adjustment is aimed at streamlining the information you receive, allowing you to focus more effectively on the most relevant details.
These updates to the way access information is shared in the app will not impact your job view in the Order Dashboard.
