We’re making some minor process and interface improvements for re-inspections on the Inspectify platform. These updates aim to increase the quality and clarity of inspection reports, benefiting both clients and inspectors.
Please take a moment to review the following changes before your next inspection:
Process updates
The re-inspection process will continue to focus on verifying defects found during the initial inspection. Based on the template being used, you may now be asked to answer a limited number of question prompts again to confirm their current state.
Photo capture requirements
As part of the re-inspection process, you may be asked to capture follow-up photos of rooms and appliances. These photos provide a detailed snapshot of the home throughout the build process, helping provide clarity and reduce ambiguity for clients, builders, and inspectors. This may increase re-inspection time, so please keep this in mind when scheduling appointments for the day.
User Interface (UI) enhancements
To support these changes, we have made improvements to the platform to help you quickly identify which items contain defects and/or the number of questions and media required. The layout looks similar to any other inspection but will now include the following icons as identifiers:
Wrench icon: This signifies the presence of defects that need to be addressed during re-inspection. Please indicate whether these defects have been fixed or whether they remain unresolved at the time of re-inspection.
Question mark "?" icon: This indicates the number of questions required for a specific system or sub-system.
Photo square icon: This represents the number of photo captures required for a specific system or sub-system.
If you have any questions or would like further clarification, please reply or send an email to bulk-orders@inspectify.com. We are here to support your success with Inspectify and we value your dedication to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.
