- Step 1: Locate the electric meter outside.
- Step 2: From a distance, take a picture of the area where the meter is located.

- Step 1: Locate the electrical panel. It is usually outside the home but can also be found in the basement, garage, utility room, closet, or hallway.
- Step 2: From a distance, take a picture of the area where the panel is located.

Note: If the panel is located under the meter, you can open it from the bottom corners, even if there's an electrical tag on the upper half of the meter.
