Understanding Your Report Delivery Estimate ("Report est.")
The "Report est." (Report Delivery Estimate) is designed to let you know exactly when you should expect to receive your completed inspection or appraisal report.
Because every order is unique, this time-based indicator is dynamic and will automatically adapt based on the current status of your service.
How Your Estimate is Calculated
The estimated delivery time varies depending on the type of service you requested:
- Pending Services: If your inspection has not yet been scheduled or your appraisal has not yet been assigned, the "Report est." field will simply display three dashes ("---").
- Appointment-Based Inspections: Once your inspection is successfully scheduled, your delivery estimate will automatically update to 24 hours after your scheduled appointment date and time.
- Go-Anytime Inspections: Once a go-anytime inspection is assigned to a contractor, the estimate will update to "On or before [the day after your provided latest date]". Additionally, once the contractor begins working on the report, this estimate will actively update to 24 hours from the time the report was started.
- Hybrid and Desktop Appraisals: As soon as an appraiser starts your report, the delivery estimate will update to 24 hours after their start time.
What Happens After Delivery?
The dashboard will display "Report est." to keep you informed while the work is being completed. Once the contractor or appraiser finishes their work and the report is delivered, the status will update and you will be able to access your finalized documents directly from your dashboard.
