Inspectors now have the ability to manage user accounts from the Inspectify dashboard! Users with the new “Admin” permission will see a new tab called “Manage users” where an overview of all users on an Inspectify account can be seen.
In order for us to accurately identify the amount of work your company can take on, we need to identify how many inspectors you have on your team.
From here, Admins can add new users, edit existing users, view the status of a user invite, and view any permissions associated with each user.
First, let’s talk about what these statuses mean:
"Active": the user has received an invite to create an account and has successfully logged into the Inspectify app after creating their password.
"Invite sent": the user has been sent an invite to join the account, but has not logged into the Inspectify app yet
Additionally, you’ll notice a checkbox below the user names that, when activated, will show any archived users.
Archiving users is a new feature that Admins will have access to when editing existing users. When the “Show archived users” filter is activated, you’ll be able to see any previously archived users and they will have “Archived” status.
Next, we will review adding new users and what each permission means.
By clicking on the “Add user” button found on the top right, the Admin will enter the following screen.
To add a user, the Admin should fill in the required information in the “Profile Information” section and click the “Send invite” button found on the bottom right. Admins are not required to fill out the “Permissions” section to create a user, but it is highly recommended.
Now let’s go over what these permissions mean:
Admin: when activated, the user will have access to the new “Manage users” tab and all of its features. They will also have access to the “Payment setup” and “Payment history” tabs where they can edit payment information and view payments
NOTE: for security reasons, Admins can turn on the Admin permission for other users, but they cannot turn it off for other users. To turn off the Admin permission for a user, please reach out to our team at inspectors@inspectify.com.
Pricing: when activated, the user can see the payment amount for any given inspection in the Inspectify app. This corresponds to the “Your pay” section shown below
Offers: when activated, the user will receive Offer notifications in the Inspectify app and will be able to accept Offers on the company’s behalf. When deactivated, the “Offers” tab in the app will not be accessible and the user will not receive Offer notifications.
