Why Appraisers & Clients Can’t Communicate Directly

Appraisal Management Companies are subject to strict regulations that protect appraiser independence and prevent outside influence on value opinions. Because of these regulations, direct communication between an appraiser and our client must go through Appraisify.

Any communication that bypasses the AMC can put both the appraiser’s license and Appraisify’s AMC license at risk, even when an AMC isn’t technically required for that type of assignment.

In short: all communication must flow through Appraisify - never directly between appraisers and clients. This protects both parties, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, and upholds the independence and integrity of the appraisal process.
